  1. Box for spermatic cord: The spermatic cord is a tubular structure that carries the vas deferens and vascular and neural structures supplying the testes. It extends from the superior pole of the testis to the deep inguinal ring, passing through the inguinal canal. It is covered by the external spermatic fascia that extends from the aponeurosis of the external oblique muscle;cremaster muscle and the fascia of the internal oblique muscle and internal spermatic fascia derived from the transversalis fascia. The spermatic cord carries the following components:

i) Vas deferens or ductus deferens

ii) Testicular and cremasteric arteries and the artery to the ductus deferens.

iii) Pampiniform plexus of veins

iv) Lymphatics

v) Autonomic plexuses and genital branch of the genitofemoral nerve

vi) Remnants of the processus vaginalis
