Finishing Tools

These tools prepare and refine a wooden surface after the main work is done, smoothing, shaping, or protecting materials for a clean final result.

Handheld finishers

Files

Used For: Removing small amounts of material at a time.

Hand rasp used to shape and smooth wood or other materials.

Used For: Removing slightly larger, and more aggressive amounts of material at a time.

Belt sander used to quickly sand and smooth large surfaces.
