Supply Chain Management (SCM)
The coordination and integration of all activities involved in sourcing, procurement, production, and logistics to deliver a product or service to the end customer.

SCM encompasses the entire flow of materials, information, and finances: from the initial supplier of raw materials to the final delivery of the finished product.

At its core, SCM aims to optimize efficiency, reduce waste, and enhance responsiveness across the entire supply chain. This requires seamless collaboration among suppliers, manufacturers, distributors, and retailers. As global markets become increasingly interconnected and customer expectations rise, effective supply chain management has become a critical source of competitive advantage.

Modern SCM emphasizes more than just cost reduction.
