Prepare for the NCLEX-RN with seven practice exams built to reflect the exam's content weighting, item types, and clinical judgment format. Each exam contains 70 scored questions, matching the scored content of a minimum-length NCLEX while excluding the 15 unscored pretest questions. You'll have 5 hours to complete each exam.
Each exam includes 52 standalone questions distributed and weighted across the eight NCLEX-RN content areas:
Across both sections you'll encounter a variety of NCLEX-style item types, including Multiple Choice, Multiple Response, Drag and Drop, Matrix/Grid, Bow-Tie, Highlight, and Cloze.
The remaining 18 questions are organized into 3 six-question case studies that present evolving patient scenarios and assess the six clinical judgment skills: recognize cues, analyze cues, prioritize hypotheses, generate solutions, take action, and evaluate outcomes. Your results report performance across the eight content areas plus a separate Case Study score out of 18.
