Practice exams
Our CCNA course is currently in development and is a work-in-progress.

Achievable includes 3 full-length CCNA (200-301) practice exams

Prepare for the Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) 200-301 exam with 3 full-length practice exams that mirror the content and timing of the official test.

Multiple choice

Each practice exam contains 89 questions and is timed at 2 hours. Questions are distributed and weighted across the six CCNA exam domains:

  • IP Connectivity – 25%
  • Network Fundamentals – 20%
  • Network Access – 20%
  • Security Fundamentals – 15%
  • IP Services – 10%
  • Automation and Programmability – 10%

Questions assess both your knowledge of networking concepts and your ability to apply that knowledge to configuration, verification, and troubleshooting scenarios.

Each of the 3 versions can be taken once, so every attempt is a new set of questions. As on the official exam, you can't return to a question once you've answered it.

After completing an exam, you'll receive a detailed performance breakdown by CCNA domain and course topic, helping you see where to focus your review and track your progress over time.

Hands-on labs

The official exam also includes a few hands-on lab items. Below the practice exams you'll find 4 Cisco Packet Tracer labs, each timed at about 15 minutes, to practice them. They open in Packet Tracer, so you'll need a Windows, Mac or Ubuntu computer.

Packet Tracer labs
These four labs are built to feel like the hands-on lab items on the CCNA exam. Each one is a Cisco Packet Tracer activity: open it, read the task, then configure or fix the network. A timer gives you about 15 minutes per lab, and Packet Tracer checks your work and shows which items you have right. Your results stay in Packet Tracer, so you can repeat a lab as often as you like.
You'll need Cisco Packet Tracer, which is free. Create a free Cisco Networking Academy account (Google sign-in works), enroll in Getting Started with Cisco Packet Tracer, and download the latest version. Setup takes 15 to 30 minutes.
Packet Tracer runs on Windows, macOS and Ubuntu computers, not on Chromebooks, iPads or phones. It needs 4 GB of free memory and 1.4 GB of free disk space, and asks you to sign in each time it opens.
